The Simpsons Movie premiere will take place in Springfield, Vermont, which won the contest among Springfields throughout the United States.

There's a new trailer up for Bee Movie at Moviefone.  It doesn't make me eager to watch the whole movie.

Well, I'm back! All my thousands of adoring readers are no doubt cheering, or will be when they notice. No excuse, I just got bored of updating after I moved. But this is mostly a good way for me to keep up with animation news and release dates and so forth for my own use, so I might as well throw everything on the net instead of keeping it private, so other people can benefit from my AD-FREE and COOKIE-FREE site! Oh yeah.

According to AICN (and a few other places have corroborated the news), a new company, Frederator Films, has plans to produce a Samurai Jack movie (with Tartakovsky directing), as well as The Neverhood and The Seven Deadly Sins.

AICN also has a sneak peek review up of Bee Movie, which I didn't read all of because it was sort of unreadable. And I suspect the movie is actually going to be unwatchable, but what the heck. The review seems to be tepidly positive.
